Polish Nursing has appeared since 1987. The journal is under the patronage of the Faculty of Health Science, Poznan University of Medical Sciences.

The journal is interdisciplinary. It prints reviewed original research, opinion articles, case studies and latest reports and studies on nursing, midwifery, public health, medicine as well as other scientific fields connected directly or indirectly with nursing. Moreover, the journal publishes conference reports and book reviews as well.

Polish Nursing is addressed to a wide range of readers, including nurses, midwives, medical university students and all who are interested in obtaining or expanding the knowledge of health care.

Editors of the journal aimed to create a platform for the exchange of thoughts, reflections and experience that will contribute to the implementation of positive changes in the field of nursing, midwifery, public health and medicine.
