The purpose of my work is to present the development of a learning procedure and the conception of e-detailing from the view point of nurses and midwives work. E-detailing is described in wide perspective, not only as a marketing tool in the hands of pharmaceutical companies, but also as an important instrument in the learning process. It describes historical facts, the development and basics learning techniques, with emphasis on e-learning and e-detailing questions. It shows the fact that nurses and midwives are required to learn constantly and share the knowledge with patients due to Act on the Professions of Nurse and Midwife. It presents the goal of e-detailing tasks conducted by pharmaceutical companies. It shows how important it is that nurses and midwives have the possibility to use an e-detailing form of acquisition of knowledge.
