Women with Turner syndrome constitute a very special group of patients. Their distinct body build causes a slightly different functioning of the organ of locomotion, which is reflected in the results of various fitness tests. These as well as aesthetic aspects make Turner syndrome patients undertake physical exercises very reluctantly. It is necessary, however, to encourage them to engage in different forms of physical activity to prevent the deterioration of their physical performance, osteoporosis and diabetes; and to improve their body aesthetics and general physical fitness. The article demonstrates the results of research of many authors on the physical activity and performance efficiency of girls and women with Turner syndrome. It also presents indications and contraindications related to the performance of physical exercises by girls and women with Turner syndrome.
