The research was aimed on making a confirmation to appearance of a correlation between perceived stress intensity and the quality of an individual diet, including mediating role of strategies for managing stress. Research group consisted of 43 participants (26 females,17 males) between 19 to 26 years old. Research procedure consisted in filling out three forms: Healthy Diet Questionnaire, PSS10, COPE and moreover, filling out demographics data. The analysis of both correlations, mediations and regressions brought no proves to the theoretical assumption tested. However, the study provides negative correlation between improper dietary habits (such as amount of consumed fast foods and snacks) and level of perceived stress, as well as some coping with stress strategies.
