Introduction. Coronary angiography is an invasive study evaluating the state of the coronary arteries. Due to the increase in the number of people with ischemic heart disease increases the number of patients undergoing CABG and PTCA. Patients with cardiac intervention coverage are nursing. The period after the surgery was a period in which the observed and the basic vital signs monitors, verifies and evaluates the functioning of various organs. Aim. The aim of this study was to identify the problems of emergency care patients after cardiac surgery. Material and methods. 104 patients were studied after cardiac procedures. The study used data collected from the questionnaire – surveys and direct observation. Results. The obtained results of the main problems in patients after cardiac procedures were complaints from the various systems (circulatory, respiratory, digestive, urinary, excretory, nervous system). There was also pain weakness rhythm sleep disorders, anxiety – anxiety and little knowledge about risk factors. Patients were satisfied with the nursing care of satisfying the needs of individuals. Conclusions. Among patients treated in the cardiology department found a high level of satisfaction with nursing activities. Improvement requires promotion, education and prevention. The effectiveness of treatment of cardio-vascular raises awareness of public health.
