The stance of pharmacist and pharmacy students to the conscience clause

Almost all legislative attempts to establish a functioning conscience clause law for pharmacists bears heat and controversy. Both proponents, and the opponents argue lively presenting their cases for or against legislating conscientious objections in delivering medical services. The following article contains basic legal background of both sides of this argument. The background's quality is not a subject of approval or criticism by the author, the point of the article being just to fairly present both sides of the debate. The pharmacists and pharmacy students from Poznań knowledge on the argument will be presented and reviewed. Furthermore, poll data from the before-mentioned group, con-taining answers to questions about personal approval towards conscience clauses or any legislative permitting denial of delivering some medical services, especially denial of selling of some medications, will be introduced in the following article.
