Women tend to experience urinary incontinence more often than men and the risk increases with age, after menopause. In the world, 25–30% of women suffer from urinary incontinence, which is a common disease affecting all social groups. UI may be caused by variouschanges in a woman's body. Preliminary classification of the disease is the prerequisite for appropriate diagnosis and therapy. Treatment includes both pharmacology and non-pharmacological therapy. The method of treatment depends on the individual patient’s condition.
