Anaphylaxis is a potentially fatal hypersensitivity reaction. The main role is usually played by IgE antibodies. It is a syndrome of severe cardiovascular disorders with significant hypotension and acute hypoxia. The more violent reaction of the body, the greater the risk to life and health. Anaphylactoid anaphylaxis was described in the late seventies. An incident of clinical symptoms was reported, which occurred after mussels consumption and subsequent exercising. The scientific term of food-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis (FDEIA) was introduced by Kidd's research group. Over time, further research groups have described the above syndrome. Unfortunately, in most reports, only separate cases have been published, as this is rare pathology, known relatively poorly even in the circles of allergy specialists.

Key words: anaphylactic shock, allergic reaction, exercise.
