Transplantation means organ transplantation in whole or only part of it, a designated tissue or cell from one body to another or within one body. Medical professions play an important role in the development of transplant medicine. Nursing care of the donor is an elementary part in the process of preparing the patient for transplantation from the moment the patient is admitted to the hospital until the organ is collected and transplanted. The care of an anesthesiological nurse requires specialized knowledge, experience, skills, resistance to stress and empathy. In addition, she should have a good knowledge of the problems faced by the family and the relatives of the patient. These are indispensable elements affecting the good functioning of the transplant team.
