The philosophy of medicine assumes that medicine is an integral discipline, which means that claims about the uniqueness of medicine can generally be applied to all its branches and are closely related to nursing as well. The main goal in medicine and nursing is to maintain good health. Each branch of medicine plays a role in achieving this holistic goal, and it is also an important goal of nursing.
