Fraza do cytowania: Olek-Hrab K, Adamski Z Mycosis fungoides – diagnostic and therapeutic problems. Piel Pol. 2013;1(47):34–36. Mycosis fungoides (MF) is derived cutaneous T-cell lymphoma,
which is often characterized by mild lesions, although
it may be become a malignant transformation in the direction
of growth of helper T-cell. The disease affects all races, it can
occur at any age, more common in males. The diagnosis is
often determined by the morphology of the lesions that are
initially stains, over time it may take the form of infiltrative or
nodular. Investigations carried out in the early stages of the
disease, including histopathological examination, we do not
always confirm the diagnosis of MF. We present a case of MF
patients in whom we encountered diagnostic and therapeutic
problems. Special attention is interdisciplinary in relation to
this group of patients. Good cooperation between various
specialists can contribute to faster diagnosis and better treatment
of these patients.
Key words: granuloma fungoides, primary cutaneous T-cell lymphoma CTCL, mycosis fungoides.
