The aim of the following document is to show the importance of innovative hi-tech solutions in Health sector from economics of Public Health point of view. Important issue described in this publication is to show potential chances and threats directly connected to implementation E-health solutions. Global trend of digitalization in healthcare sector gives measurable benefits related to savings inside the hospitals, as well as savings in the scale as a whole system. The examples included in the text describe the implementation of high tech solutions which improve the quality of services, but also improve the subjective patients’ perception as a well-managed healthcare system.
