Introduction. Job evaluation in a selected health care facility has become an opportunity for the authors to present the results of their research. The authors focused particularly on the administrative jobs and service evaluation in the selected clinical hospital. Aim. The aim of this study is to present the applicability of job evaluation in a health care facility. Material and methods. In the study techniques used in the evaluation process of administrative positions in the health care facility were applied. The method used during the test was a diagnostic survey. An appropriate questionnaire was used as a research tool. Results and conclusions. The results of the study were used to determine the salaries of the administrative staff of the hospital in question and compare them to the average remuneration in Poland. Presented examples allow the authors to define the scope of work and ways of applying the evaluation results by human resource managers in the health care facility.
